Biography
Recognizing that life is a journey—from Gen Z to the Greatest Generation and beyond probate—Max Solomon focuses his practice on elder law. His work spans guardianship, probate administration and litigation, health care issues, public benefits, wills, trusts and estate planning, financial exploitation, and appeals.
Max is widely recognized throughout Florida for his strength in exploitation litigation and his holistic approach to resolving disputes. He is equally known for creating estate planning solutions tailored to younger individuals and couples, blended families, LGBTQ couples, and other nontraditional family structures.
His peers have repeatedly nominated him as a Rising Star in Florida Elder Law (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). He serves in multiple leadership roles within the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar, sits on the Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Committee and the Mental Health and Wellness Committee of The Florida Bar, and was President of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Conference in 2023. Max is also a published author in privacy law and public international law, and a frequent speaker on the intersections of guardianship, privacy, fiduciary representation, and even pop culture’s surprising influence on the law. He has presented to judges, attorneys, and professionals statewide.
Outside the courtroom, Max maintains an active pro bono practice assisting veterans, children, LGBTQ individuals, and low-income seniors. He also enjoys partnering with animal rescue organizations and has a special passion for establishing pet trusts.
A proud triple ’Nole, Max earned his Juris Doctor, Master of Science in American Politics and Policy, and Bachelor’s degrees in History and International Affairs from Florida State University. He also studied at St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford, in the summer of 2016, where he focused on Public International Law.
When not practicing law, Max can be found hiking with his two Pembroke Welsh Corgis and tabby cat, traveling, or loyally (and sometimes painfully) cheering for international soccer, Florida State Seminoles athletics, the Tottenham Hotspur, Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and—begrudgingly—South Florida sports.
